Flavour of Iceland

Iceland is not only closer than you think, but far different than you ever imagined. The effect of the Gulf Stream keeps the temperature surprisingly warm in summer and milder than you would imagine in winter. The wind and temperature are comparable with the West Coast of Scotland. With the northern most point sitting on the Arctic Circle and the Mid Atlantic Ridge running the length of the island, this land of ice and fire really does provide some of the most dramatic scenery in the world.
